Over 665 billion SHIB became active in the last 24 hours. Big number. But what’s actually going on?
Exchange inflows surged 2.47% to about 628.8 billion SHIB. Whale-sized transactions are up 2.38%, and the average inflow size rose 2.74%. Large holders are moving coins around.
Exchange netflow is still slightly negative at -2.56 billion SHIB, meaning outflows still barely beat inflows. The exchange reserve is declining and sits near 87 trillion SHIB. Declining reserves are usually a positive signal — fewer tokens available for immediate sale.
But recent spikes in exchange deposits tend to precede periods of high volatility. Whether those tokens get sold depends on broader sentiment.
Technically, SHIB isn’t in great shape. It’s trading around $0.0000043, below all major moving averages — 50, 100, and 200-day. The bearish structure is intact. The RSI is trying to bottom out after leaving oversold territory, but buyers keep hitting resistance around $0.0000046 and then $0.0000050-$0.0000055.
The activation of 665 billion SHIB looks more like whales repositioning than a breakout signal. Whether that turns into accumulation or more selling pressure — that’s what the next few days will decide.
