A Trader Turned $85 Into $2 Million on a Robinhood Chain Meme Coin

Some people get lucky. One trader got really lucky.

A wallet tagged “0xeEE2” bought 0.05 ETH — about $85 — worth of CashCat tokens on June 18. That was weeks before Robinhood Chain even formally announced its mainnet launch. Three weeks later, that stack is worth over $2 million.

CashCat is the latest meme coin flavor on Robinhood Chain, a new Ethereum layer-2 network from the brokerage giant. The token hit a market cap above $130 million, jumping more than 1,230% in 24 hours.

The trader hasn’t been sitting still. They’ve sold about 4 million CashCat tokens so far, pocketing roughly $585,000 in realized profits. They still hold 12.3 million tokens worth around $1.6 million.

At the peak, the wallet’s full balance would have been nearly $2.5 million — a gain of almost 3,000,000% from that initial $85 buy.

The timing couldn’t have been better. Robinhood CEO Vlad Tenev posted on X: “While we’re building robinhood chain to be the best chain for real-world assets… it works great for memes too.” That kind of attention doesn’t hurt.

The CashCat surge also pulled attention away from other meme coins. The Solana token “The Black Bull” (ANSEM) dropped 37% from its all-time high as traders rotated into the new hot thing on Robinhood Chain.

Meme coin season isn’t dead. It just moved chains.
