Ethereum Surges Nearly 30 Percent Amid ETF Inflows and Whale Activity on Friday

Ethereum (ETH) traded at $2,422 as of press time following a significant price increase that lifted the asset above $2,430 earlier in the week. According to BeInCrypto, this rally represents Ethereum’s highest valuation level for approximately four months and marks an impressive 29 percent gain over the past seven days.

The surge coincided with substantial activity from institutional investors on US spot exchange-traded funds (ETFs), which recorded their most significant daily net inflow since October. Simultaneously, large holders removed fresh supplies of ETH from Binance wallets to capitalize on market strength. However, despite the broad optimism and upward momentum, not all major participants agreed on future prospects.

The divergence in sentiment among whales remains a critical observation for traders monitoring Ethereum’s trajectory. While institutional capital has flowed into spot ETFs at record daily rates since October of last year, some large holders have adopted different strategies regarding asset deployment across the market.
