XRP Ledger Regains Momentum With Active Users Back Above 140,000

The XRP Ledger has seen its daily active user count climb back above 140,000, regaining ground lost during the recent market downturn. The increase in on-chain activity suggests renewed interest in the network despite XRP’s price remaining range-bound near $1.10.

The active user metric, which tracks the number of unique addresses participating in transactions on a given day, had fallen below the 140,000 threshold during the broader crypto sell-off in June. The recovery above that level heading into the weekend indicates that user engagement is improving even as price action remains subdued.

The XRP Ledger has been building out its infrastructure throughout 2026, with developments including the launch of permission delegation features for institutional treasury management and the integration of XRP into the Linux Foundation’s x402 Foundation for AI payments. These ecosystem developments may be contributing to the increase in user activity.

On-chain data also shows that XRP trading volumes have picked up on major exchanges, though whale activity on Binance has pulled back from recent highs. The divergence between retail activity and large holder behavior suggests a mixed outlook, with smaller traders re-entering while larger positions consolidate.

The XRPL recently surpassed 8 million total activated accounts, another milestone in the network’s long-term growth trajectory. While daily active users remain a fraction of total accounts, the trend toward increased engagement is viewed positively by ecosystem participants who point to growing real-world use cases for the network.
