Swedish vibe-coding startup Lovable is in talks to raise $300 million at a $13.2 billion valuation. That’s exactly double the $6.6 billion it was worth just seven months ago, according to Sifted.
Menlo Ventures, which announced a $3 billion fund last month, is expected to lead the round. The company hit $500 million in annualized revenue run rate in June — not bad for a startup that’s less than three years old.
Lovable’s users range from founders and designers to salespeople building websites and e-commerce storefronts. The company also sells its vibe-coding tool to large enterprises like Workday, Asana, and Nvidia.
Vibe coding — building software just by describing what you want — is currently the hottest use case in AI. Replit hit a $9 billion valuation in March. Factory raised $150 million at $1.5 billion in April. And Cursor was acquired by SpaceX for $60 billion just last month.
The numbers are eye-popping. A $13.2 billion valuation for a company that essentially lets you type “make me a website” and gets results. But the market’s betting big on this becoming how ordinary people build software. Hard to argue with the revenue trajectory.
