Turtle Beach’s Command Series KB7 is an interesting keyboard. It’s got a touchscreen built right in. That’s not something you see every day.
The touchscreen handles macros, media controls, and system monitoring. You can swipe through settings without alt-tabbing out of your game. It’s a neat idea — execution matters more.
Build quality is solid. The key switches feel responsive, and the overall design doesn’t scream “gamer” as loud as some competitors. That said, the touchscreen is still finding its purpose. It works, but whether it’s worth the premium over a standard mechanical keyboard depends on how much you value on-the-fly adjustments.
For now, it’s a peripheral with real potential. Turtle Beach just needs to make sure the software keeps up.
