The Eufy Omni S2 doesn’t look like any other robot vacuum. It’s taller. Bulkier. But it cleans like nothing else I’ve used.
I’ve had the S1 for two years. Loved it. But it had issues — carpets never got truly clean, and the detergent container would balloon up with air. Eufy fixed both on the S2. They added a vent to the water tank and jacked suction from 8,000Pa to 30,000Pa.
You feel that difference immediately. Carpets that my old vac couldn’t touch? The S2 pulls sand and pet hair right out of the fibers.
There’s a fragrance diffuser too. Sounds gimmicky, right? I thought so. But with two dogs, robot vacs get nasty. That smell lingers in the components and blows out when it runs. Eufy’s five-layer filtration plus the diffuser actually fixes that. Fresh air comes out instead of vacuum breath.
The mop is still the star. The roller extends to edges, puts down 15N of pressure, and scrubs six times per second. It sprays clean water continuously. It mops better than most people do.
Downsides? Battery is 150 minutes — mid-tier at best. If you have a big house, it’ll need to recharge mid-clean. The water tanks need refilling every two or three runs. But that’s because the mop is actually using water instead of just smearing dirt around.
For a 900-square-foot floor, it handles everything in one pass. If you want hands-free cleaning that actually works, this is it.
