Crypto Markets Green: Bitcoin Hits $96K, Coinbase Pulls Support for Senate Bill

Markets are looking good this week. Bitcoin hit a fresh two-month high at $96,750 — up 2%. Ethereum’s sitting at $3,360, also up 2%. Solana’s flat at $145. XRP dipped 1% to $2.11.

The big movers? Decred jumped 30%. Dash and ICP each climbed 10%. Zcash added 7%. Monero touched a new all-time high at $800 before settling back to $725.

Coinbase made waves. The exchange pulled its support for the Senate’s crypto market structure bill ahead of a key vote, citing major concerns with the latest draft. The Senate ended up delaying the vote.

Zcash got some good news — the SEC closed its investigation. The Zcash Foundation said the probe is done, and no action was taken.

Ripple keeps expanding in Europe. They secured a Luxembourg license to grow their presence there. Pakistan’s exploring too — they teamed up with World Liberty Financial to look at stablecoin use cases for remittances and cross-border payments.

The Human Rights Foundation handed out nearly $1.3 million in Bitcoin grants to projects focused on human rights and freedom tech. Figure launched a public equity network for on-chain stock issuance. FTX is gearing up for another round of creditor payments, with the next distribution scheduled for March 31.

And Sui is back online after a six-hour network stall. Another test of reliability for that chain.
