XRP Just Nailed a Golden Cross Against Bitcoin — July 4 Rally Has Teeth

XRP jumped over 8% as crypto finally started moving again. After weeks of watching equities run while digital assets sat still, buyers are stepping back in.

The move started from a $1.02 low on July 1. XRP had been stuck between $1.00 and $1.07 for days. Then it broke loose — four straight days of gains heading into July 4.

Santiment data shows most cryptos are catching up. ETF outflows, whale hesitation, and weak sentiment had been dragging everything down. Now? Key support levels are holding, and the fear might have been overdone.

Profitability indicators were screaming “bounce.” XRP’s 30-day and 365-day MVRV hit about -45% and -47% respectively. Both short-term and long-term holders were deep in the red. Santiment noted that XRP has never seen lower average returns across those timeframes in over 12 years of trading. That’s extreme fear — and extreme fear often sets up rallies.

On top of that, XRP completed a golden cross against Bitcoin. That’s the 50-day moving average crossing above the 200-day. It’s a technical signal traders watch closely. It doesn’t guarantee anything, but it shows momentum is shifting.

XRP’s up more than 8% over the last seven days. Whether this is the start of a bigger run or just a relief bounce depends on who you ask. But after a brutal stretch, it’s finally moving in the right direction.
