Robinhood Debuts ‘Robinhood Chain’ — Morning Roundup

Good morning. Crypto majors are green today. SOL’s up 10%, BTC climbed 5% to $61.3k, ETH added 5% to $1,650. Let’s get into it.

Robinhood launched the public mainnet of Robinhood Chain—an Arbitrum-powered Ethereum layer-2 that it’s calling “AI-native.” The idea? Let AI agents trade directly onchain. The network opened with integrations from BitGo and Chainlink, plus partnerships with Uniswap and Pleiades for market-making. Stock Tokens are the centerpiece: onchain versions of shares in companies like Nvidia and Apple. Users can drop those into lending pools and use them as DeFi collateral. Perps trading is now available in-wallet through decentralized exchange Lighter, and Robinhood Earn lets eligible US users lend USDG stablecoin for around 7% APY.

HOOD shares closed up more than 8% to $108.65. Still well off highs though.

Elsewhere: Venice AI raised $65 million at a $1 billion valuation—crypto’s newest unicorn. Erik Voorhees’ privacy-focused platform hit 3 million users and is already profitable on ~$70 million in annualized revenue. The VVV token jumped 10% to $13.50.

Bitcoin ETFs saw $296M in net outflows Wednesday. ETH ETFs saw $15M in inflows. And Cantor Fitzgerald analysts think a crypto market bottom might form in the coming months.
