Bitget is expanding beyond crypto. The exchange just launched US stock options trading on its Stock+ platform, adding equity derivatives alongside crypto and tokenized stocks.
It’s a move that blurs the line between crypto exchanges and traditional brokerages. Users can now trade options on major US stocks from the same account they use for Bitcoin and other digital assets.
Bitget’s been expanding Stock+ steadily, and this is the biggest addition so far. Stock options give traders more flexibility — they can hedge positions or speculate on price moves without owning the underlying shares directly.
No word yet on which specific stocks or indices are available for options trading. But the platform already supported tokenized stocks, so the infrastructure was in place.
