Michael Saylor isn’t done buying. The Strategy chairman is signaling another Bitcoin acquisition, which would mark the firm’s fourth consecutive week of purchases.
The company picked up 520 BTC on June 22 — its smallest recent tranche. But Strategy’s position is underwater by roughly $13 billion, and Saylor seems unfazed. He’s been consistently adding to the company’s balance sheet through market weakness, treating dips as buying opportunities.
Strategy holds the largest corporate Bitcoin treasury by far. Saylor’s conviction play has made the company essentially a Bitcoin proxy stock, for better or worse. When BTC dropped toward $59,000 this month, Strategy’s share price took an even harder hit.
Whether this streak continues depends on what Monday’s filing shows. If the pattern holds, Saylor’s betting that today’s losses are tomorrow’s discount.
