Bitget just launched a new feature called Stock+, and it does exactly what the name suggests: lets you buy full and fractional US stocks using crypto.
The product works through regulated brokers, so it’s not some offshore workaround. You fund your purchase with crypto, and Bitget handles the conversion and brokerage on the back end.
It’s a straightforward play to bridge the gap between crypto holders and traditional equity markets. Instead of cashing out to fiat first — with all the tax headaches and delays that come with it — you can move straight from crypto to stocks.
Fractional shares are included, so you’re not limited to buying whole shares of Amazon or Google. Even small positions are fair game.
This fits a broader trend of crypto exchanges trying to become everything-at-once financial platforms. The line between “crypto exchange” and “brokerage” keeps getting blurrier.
