John Bollinger Says Bitcoin’s Double Bottom Could Break the Bear Market

Bitcoin might be wrapping up a pattern that could actually end this bear run.

John Bollinger — the guy who created Bollinger Bands — is watching BTC/USD form what looks like a “W”-shaped double bottom. He posted charts on X showing how cleanly the setup aligns with the lower band of his own indicator.

“Perfectly fractal,” he said. Small w’s at the bottoms, a small m at the top. That’s the kind of detail traders eat up.

The question: will this W be the one that breaks the downtrend? Bollinger’s been bullish on BTC for a while now. He opened a new long position back in May.

Bitcoin ETF flows are starting to turn around too. Friday saw the first net inflows in ten days — about $220 million. Not massive, but it’s something.

Analyst Axel Adler Jr. says Bitcoin’s in the late stage of the bear cycle. “The ETF segment has for the first time signaled that pressure is easing.”

Trader Daan Crypto Trades points out that BTC has been holding the $60K region despite all the outflows. If price bounces further into next week, that absorption becomes meaningful.

No guarantees in crypto. But the signals are piling up.
