Flipper Devices Busy Bar Goes on Sale July 14th

The Busy Bar, the productivity-focused LED display from the creators of the Flipper Zero, finally has a launch date. It goes on sale July 14th, and the first 3,000 units will be discounted to $199. Regular retail price: $249. Waitlist members can still grab one for $179.

First announced in April 2025, the Busy Bar is described as a productivity multitool. It sits on your desk or perches on a monitor, cubicle wall, or door — anywhere visible to coworkers or family. Press a button and the 72 x 16 pixelated LED screen displays a status message with an optional countdown timer so people know when you shouldnt be disturbed.

It does more than just show text. The Busy Bar can run a Pomodoro timer and mute notifications on paired devices automatically. Busy Mode can trigger itself through custom rules: joining a phone call, starting a stream, hitting record, or opening a specific app. It is also Matter-compatible, so it can fire smart home automations like dimming lights or playing music when you need to focus. You can wall-mount it to show meeting room availability in an office setting.

Flipper Devices has built an open API for third-party apps. That means developers can tie the Busy Bar into scheduling systems, build custom integrations, or expand its capabilities beyond what ships out of the box. Accompanying apps will be available on iOS, Android, macOS, and watchOS at launch, with a native Windows app planned for later this year.
