BreachRx Launches AI Incident Command Center to Handle Multiple Simultaneous Attacks

BreachRx has unveiled the Rex Platform, an AI-powered incident command center designed to handle what the firm sees as the new normal: multiple concurrent cyberattacks accelerated by AI tooling.

The platform builds on the company’s earlier Rex AI engine, turning it from a simple assistant into a full response hub for security teams. BreachRx argues that AI tools are lowering the barrier for less experienced attackers, enabling complex multi-step attacks that shrink the window between vulnerability discovery and exploitation to just hours.

The Rex Platform operates out of band, so it keeps working even when corporate networks are compromised. Its orchestration agent, Maestro, manages specialized sub-agents that assess severity, run response playbooks, determine regulatory disclosure requirements, and draft reports.

Notably, the platform is also built to handle incidents from internal AI agents — like data leaks from over-permissioned systems. BreachRx sees these as having similar legal and operational implications to external breaches.

The launch reflects a broader industry shift toward AI-driven incident response as attack volume and speed continue to increase.
